This is a beautiful antique Victorian silver engraved inkstand with two cut glass ink bottles and a taper stick holder in the shape of a cherub, with removable matching sconce. The tray has a decorative floral pattern engraved on to it and is fully hallmarked Sheffield 1852. The lids on the ink bottles also have a full set of hallmarks, and also the lid of the taper stick holder. The makers mark is for Roberts & Hall. The total weight of the inkstand is 1.348 kg. The weight of the two glass bottles is 583 grams.
