This is a beautiful pair of antique Victorian silver berry spoons with fitted box and gilding in the bowls. The bowls are embossed with a typical fruit pattern and the handles are engraved with decoration. The spoons are fully hallmarked London 1839. The makers mark is for William Eaton.
The spoons are in excellent condition but the box does not quite clip shut properly.
Jonathan Green Antiques Ltd has clarified that the beautiful pair of Victorian silver berry spoons (279 / LA82201) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1839.
